Lawyer, holds a Master’s, Doctorate and Associate Degree in Public Health from the University of São Paulo and a post-doctorate in medical law from the Université de Paris XII (France) and in public health from Columbia University (USA). She is currently a full professor at the University of São Paulo. She participated in the foundation of the Center for Studies and Research in Health Law (1988). She works mainly in the field of health law, public health and health ethics.
