PhD Professor, Department of Environmental Health, Faculty of Public Health, University of São Paulo. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade São Judas Tadeu (1996), a master’s and a doctorate in Public Health from the Department of Environmental Health at the Faculty of Public Health at the University of São Paulo (2000 and 2004). He has experience in the field of Public Health, with an emphasis on Environmental Health, working mainly on the following topics: sanitation, health promotion, indicators of environmental and health sustainability, and an ecosystem approach to health.
